Yet hidden among the odd, catchy time signatures, melodic distortion and endless alternate (sexy) tunings beats a sincere heart.
These songs (like all songs) are half fiction, half truth, but in recounting the personal, Jesse hopes to make his experiences universal (or regional, whichever comes first!)
The band are also not afraid to 'chill' once in a while, as evidenced by the dreamy "Morning Pales" and the sparkling, nostalgic romp "Bottled in Glass."
